Just wondering.. If injecting Testosterone causes the body to elevate estrogen production equally - and we call gyno (and other things) 'side effects' what actually happens to the excess estrogen if it doesn't cause symptoms?
Do some men just get away with it and avoid the feminisation part of the balance?
Why don't all of us get gyno everytime? Coz the other side effects seem likely, water retention etc.
Are side effects of Test actually uncommon? I'm guessing they are or they would be primary or seconday..

Sorry, looks like a million Qs but theres only one or two. Honest...

I've done alot of reading on this in the past.It seems that it depends on the estrogen receptors in the male body. Some men have more, and some have none at all in the breast tissue area.I believe this has alot to do with your tendency to get gyno. From my understanding, all excess test in your body gets attached to an aromatase enzyme which converts it to estrogen. This is your bodies attempt to balance the two hormones (men need estrogen in their body as well). So to answer your other question, side effects of test are caused by the excess test converting to estrogen. You just have to take the proper precautions and be aware of your body.

ALthough not all of us are gyno prone (myself for one), there is no escaping the fact that the excess testosterone will aromatise into estrogen and cause problems of some sort. A good way to forget about estrogen converstion is to run an AI throughout your entire cycle, pct, and 3 weeks after.
