Hi everyone!
My gym partner is thinking of doing a steroid cycle but he gets bad migraines which are controlled by painkillers from the doctors. He is wondering if the painkillers will effect the results of his cycle?
He has made some great gains natrualy just from good diet and training.
He seems to think his medication lowers Testosterone slightly aswell.
I told him that if he is determined to do this then start with just a short ester test. So if he experiances any bad side effects then he could stop quick.
I also advised against an oral incase combined with the painkillers may be to hard on the liver.
So what do you guys think?
Which meds is he taking?
Hes on Methadone.
Methadone is not prescribed for migraines. Its a drug prescribed to opiate addicts.
There's much more going on there.

Big Bump!!
On the rare occassion, uncontrallable, unmanagable chronic pain might be treated with heavy duty opiates such as methadone but it seems very doubtfull it would be Rx for migraine headache. Besides, methadone is just as addictive as other oral and injectable opiates. If your friend has an addiction problem, having him try gear is an absolute no-no. Plus, he may also have some liver damage and taking steroids would only cause further damage.

i have to take pain meds for injuries and for some of the pain assiociated with my crohns and i never had any problems though i take liver aids and get the proper blood work often to make sure i am in check, but bump what the others are saying, i have heard of people taking methadone for chronic pain but never for migranes..my mother has severe and i mean severe migranes that require an injection when she gets them but its called imitrax and its not a narcotic..so help us fill in the blanks so we can carefully advise him on what to do..
On rare occasions people who have chronic pain and use a PM Physician may be prescribed methadone due to a high opiate tolerance. I find it hard to believe that someone with bad migraines would be prescribed methadone. My mother has migraines that keep her in the bed for a day or two sometimes and she is prescribed some mild pain medication plus some non-narcotic migraine med that costs like $1000 a month without insurance. Methadone is usually at the end of a long road with high dosages of opiate meds, if its ever prescribed at all. I'm not trying to call you out, I would just be very shocked. If your buds Doc did offer methadone for migraines I would find another Doc.
My Mom gets migrains and they never gave her methadon
that for withdrawing from herion, and that's just a money making scam
the meth. is worst than the herion, it eats you from the inside, your bones ect..
I take pain meds. and it dose not effect my gains.
bro methadone is NOT prescribed for migraines...its for addicts and heavy opiate users, mainly heroin..If he is taking it then there is a reason why...its none of my business as to why but I would def make sure he gets his liv values and full blood work done frequently.. -yam
