So I recently had bloodwork done. My T levels with the Quest test came back at 278...just two points lower than the 280 normal. Thank God it wasn't my White Blood Cell count or I might be dying of cancer...but hey..Testosterone levels are nothing to worry about.

The doc seemed hesitant to treat. He gave me a script for 50mg of Cream every day. With the absorption rate I knew that was low. He had no interest in doing shots. I was speechless with some of the stuff he said/thought. I'll post that later if anyone is interested. I sought out some alternatives and I'm currently on a bi-weekly shot. Although a lot more expensive.

My current protocal is 400mg Test Cyp, 100mg of Deca. Also taking 1mg of an Anti-E EOD. The alt doc prescribed HCG. I've never used it so I want to wait and see how my body reacts.

Also, Yo old bro's.

The HCG will help keep your "boys" from shrinking while on the T.

I think the standard is 250ius 2 times per week (the day before your T shot).

I used it and nad no problems at all with it.

Yo so you're doing replacement deca too? Lol That's about how high I would go too. Just enough to help the joints a little. Hcg thruout?

LOL...yeah, replacement Deca. Yes, the doc prescribed hCG.

I'm pretty sure my doc is on the edge.

I was prescribed hCG but not running it yet. I wanted to see how my body reacted to the TRT/HRT protocol. Also, my wife is pregnant and due to pop at the end of October so I have no reason to keep spermatogensis up.

Back in the day I used to run Test Prop and tren. I have a baseline that's very old. I wanted to see where this got me before I started trying to figure out when to put hCG in. I have a lot of options between Winny, Deca, etc...as long as my dosage is at the FDA approved 500mg a week.

is the doc doing follow up blood work?

And we'll collect the moments one by one. I guess that's how the future's done. Feist, "Mushaboom", 2005

The purpose of the HCG is so when you stop your cycle you will be able to produce your own natty test MUCH quicker and recover faster from the cycle.

If you are going on permanant HRT then no need but if you plan on coming off then the HCG should be ran the entire cycle at 250ius 2 times per week.

As far as how you will react to it - I am betting you won't even notice you are using it - but your "boys" will be greatful you did.

You can run hcg toward the end and pct goes quite well too.

Yes, I have follow up blood work in 3 months. I'm expecting my levels to be well over the high side.

Also, I am planning on staying on replacement therapy indefinitely.

I haven't felt this good in a long, long time.

nice seeing you! a man after my own heart, that is my kind of trt. i am also on a "super" trt program. sounds like you are on the right track, make sure you are checking your blood lipids as well, you may need to pay attention to your hdl as well.

Hey ya JB!

Anything particular I should be looking for regarding blood lipids? Also, I'll note to check hdl.

I'm a newbie as far as HRT/TRT goes. I'm reading everything which is why I came back here. I knew you and Headdoc were doing a lot of research and posting.

just keep and eye on hdl, if it starts dropping you will need to pay attention.
