I take glutamine twice per day 1. Mixed with my protein shake after training 2. Mixed with grape juice right before I go to sleep Just my opinion

Glutamine is best taken with a high glucose beverage ie. welches grape juice or glucose itself in warm water. about an hour before workout and after. It's also said that taurine should be taken with it to help absorption and works nicely with creatine. Before bed is also recommended. Whether it makes that much difference on gh release ? I have also read that you need to saturate the tissue as well, anyone know if this is true or not?

All I'm saying is that some products just don't work be it OTC or Anabolics. My buddy tried D-bol 50mg/day gained 3 pounds, then Anadrol 75mg/day 5lb. Then deca 400mg/week = 18lb. Same with creatine it doesn't do jack even at 50g/day with 3 gallons of water and no caffiene. Try glutamine once but be prepared to possibly waste your money.

Tried it mixed with my 10g creatine drink (generic Phosphagen {sp}) Whatever the EAS brand was for months. NO results either.

1. 25 mgs when I first wake up in the morning. 2. 25 mgs before I go to bed. 3. Watever extra glutamine I get with a glutamine fortified protein powdered post work-out. I think Big Will was saying that some protein powders are fortified with enough extra glutamine that if you take enough you don't need to supplement w/ added glutamine. My post work-out protein supplementation is fortified with 12 grams of extra glutamine on top of the glutamine already in the regular protein powder make up (e.g. whey protein isolate, whey protein concentrate, combos of both and/or other various proteins, etc.) So I don't add extra glutamine to my post workout protein shake b/c it is fortified with a decent amount in there already and save my $$$/glutamine for times when i'm not taking a glutamine fortified product. I use it in the morning and night at 25mgs by itself b/c of its supposed increase in GH release at that dose by itself (whether it does or doesn't increase GH in a significant amount to affect my body composition is debatable but I think it's a worthwhile protein in general that I mine as well take it by itself at those times and get every and any additional benefits I can). This is just the way I do it....

Sorry guys glutamine doesn't do jack shit. I still have $600 in debt on credit cards from buying supplements. I didn't gain a fucking ounce of strength or muscle. I used tons of glutamine and I'm talking much more then the mags were recommended. The only people that say glutamine does something are muscle mags and the supplement companies that sell it. They want you to be believe the the reason your not getting bigger is because your not using their product. Most people on the anabolex board fell for these scams and we are trying to help you steer clear of these scum bag supplement companies.

The only people who need glutamine are vegetarians and those who just don't eat enough REAL protein. My gains after glutamine have been EXACTLY the same pace. The stuff is total crap and there is nothing anyone can say to me to make me think other wise. OTC = GARBAGE Mabey it didnt work for you because your training was mediocre at best and your diet was terrible

I take vitamins and metamucil instead. BTW my stats are: 6' tall 240lb, 8 to %9 body fat, @23 years old So don't give me advice unless you are Ronnie Coleman.:D
