Does anyone understand the dif. grades of USP? For example...when a drug has a label of USP 26 or 30..what does the number stand for?

i belive that it refers to the usp codex that specifies the standards not necessarily the purity or quality.

Oh ok, thanks...I tried looking it up, but i couldn/t find any reference to what the numbers stood for.
