Myoplex Deluxe- New Formula

I'm interested in the new myoplex too, can anybody help out??

To me the taste is not quite as good, but it has a much better carb formula. The maltodextrin carbs have been replaced with carbs from rice, oats, etc.

I tried it and like it. I agree with Old Guy's evaluation. Taste is good enough, and gets better as you use it more, like most products.

yeah but at first I thought that it seriously sucked. It tasted like ass. Now I guess I'm acquiring a taste for it. Chocolate is the best one.

I seem to find that most don't taste too great at first, especially when switching. But most of them end up tasting good, and we like them. It is pretty much all an acquired taste.

i dont like that eas myoplex shit, it tastes like crap to me.. i liked labrada's a lot better. i dont buy mrp's much, but when i do i get labrada single packs..

i think its a great product but not worth the money to me

I agree with got gear. EAS makes some very good quality supplements, but they are way overpriced. I'll stick with my MetrX Bill Phillips gets on my nerves anyways.

yep good products from EAS but way to fucken overpriced for me to keep buying it. I perfer Prolab and Isopure... cheaper and 50 to 52 grams of protein a serving.. Inkman

I love the new myoplex. It doesn't taste that great, but then again if you want something that tastes good go eat some Krispy Kremes. Also, the new myoplex keeps me 'regular' when I'm on a very high protein diet. Personally I like the strawberry.

If i used an expensive MRP (like i used to) ... i would buy myoplex deluxe new formula. i love it .. just cant justify the cost. peace

As far as taste goes, I personally don't rank it as one of the better tasting that I've ever had. In fact, I recall not liking it very much at all (I got a bunch of free samples as last year's Arnold Classic). Very thick, a little too thick in my opinion. The taste was just funky (oh, it was the chocolate flavor that I had). As far as taste goes, I will tell you which one's were pretty good (not necessarily based on quality, but taste): 1) Champion's Ultramet (chocolate) *my favorite (tastes even better with 1 scoop plain egg protein) 2) Champion's Met-Max (chocolate) 3) Scitech's Myo-Meal (chocolate) 4) Muscle Links muscle meals(vanilla) - kinda tastes like those coconut popsicles they sell at gas stations 5)Met-rx original vanilla (and very versatile for adding ingredients) 6)Beverly's UltraSize (their muscle provider tastes a lot better, though, I did't list it because it's not classified as an MRP) 7)AST's nytro pro 40 isn't too bad (only had chocolate) Hope this helps. 8) Original Myoplex Deluxe (strawberry) (how the hell I could afford that stuff in college many years ago?) new formula doesn't taste as good, but it's ok----they replaced aspartame with splenda and added some fiber. clean product...as in it doesn't give me gas or the shits(everyone's different, but many of the other products listed above make me shit or fart and taste too sweet). the chocolate is good enough and you can pick up boxes for a bit over a buck per packet.
