Is there any point in taking a multi vitamin supplement both in the morning and at night before bed. For the reason of having the various minerals and vitamins in the blood supply for an extended period of time over simply a single dose somewhere throughout the day? Peoples thoughts on this would be appreciated. My reasoning is that a single dose may expire during the day leaving the body lacking in the needed nutrients for growth. I use natures best multi.
I take my vitamins twice a day after training with protein shakes and BCAA
Twice a day isnt going to hurt u, lets put it that way.
Myself, I take a mulit and my b-complex, vit c, and a few others in the a.m. Then in the evening I take my anti-oxidents (vit c (again), vit e, beta-carotean, folic acid, zinc, potassium, calcium, selenium, and a few others, A few other could be, Saw Palmeto, co-Q. In my mind it's cheap insurance.
I take mine twice a day usually
twice a day it then, thanx
twice a day it then, thanx
Twice a day, first thing in the morning then later on that night.
There's nothing wrong with it. You may not need them, but why risk it. I look at it like a pyramid. The vit's are the base. You can't build up from nothing.
twice a day...once with my breakfast, and again post workout with my shake.

A multi-vitamin is not needed if you get a variety of fruits, vegetables, and grains. If you're taking a multi-vitamin twice a day, I would look at the amount each vitamin contains. Fat soluble vitamins, especially vitamin A and D, can be very toxic in large amounts. Water soluble vitamins can also be toxic in high amounts, but in larger amounts(2000mg+ of vitamin C).
