I know that if you go to low on calories, or is it carbs that will slow your metabolism down? I do notice that when I go low on carbs I start to hold weight, and get bloated, but maybe if I up my good fats on the low carb days it will keep the calories the same so my metabolism wont slow down.

Slow metabolism is also caused by less frequent meals.

losing lean body mass CAN contribute to a lower metabolism...That's why crash weight loss diets never work

Well I have heard the carbs stimulate t3 levels. But beside that, when I do low carb days I will just add more healthy fat to keep the calories the same. I am trying to keep cals around 2400 a day. I am currently 5'10 207 10%bf. Just finished fina last week, and now on halo, and winny, but this damn halo seems to be bloating me. Want to get to 7%bf.
