Hey Bro's,

I have found some info saying that test should be used (medically) in the AM b/c that is when natural levels are highest.

Does anyone know about timing of test and performance? Would it be better to use immediately following a hard workout? Would that have a better effect on recovery?

Thanks for any input.

I would think it depends on the ester.

Exactly test e and Test Cyp can be injected anytime during the week.

Thanks for the info, bros.

Do you know about using the gel form? Does that change anything?

The info recommending test in the AM is referring to androgel. It needs to be applied every 24 hours to achieve the most stable levels. Applying it post training would probably be optimal for recovery purposes.

Gel is extremely weak, so don't expect much in the way of strength or muscle gains, especially if you have normal test levels.

I have used test patches a few times ;they are gel patches with a release time and are best way to go;normal gel can be passed on to others ,children and women etc.and gel can rub off etc. I have used andro patches after training work ok;but still 50mg Test Prop 2-3 X P/W is best way to go.M/track

My experience with the patch was that it irritated my skin - became red and extremely itchy. You have to move the site every day and not return to the same site for 7 days but after a period of time you end up back on the same spot and it was once I ended back near a previous spot that the problems started.

I was reading in a magazine on the weekend an interview with Greg Lamond and he was advocating for cyclists "major arteries" being photographed and analysed for injection marks ... the patch certainly leaves a tell tale red mark after 24 hours.

Don't discount gels - they do work quite well and are very easy to use. 1 to 2 packets/day of androgel or similar can get a man over total test of 1000 easily.

agree 3x 50mg of prop is the sweet spot easy to control doses with test prop in and out the body quick ... 🙂

Thanks for all the input!

Careful hockey player.....too much steroid or test use will reduce your aerobic capacity........ after the first few anaerobic intervals(45 second shifts in hockey) much of the power comes from your aerobic energy system and not the anaerobic energy system....why?>>because of the incomplete recovery.

Steroids and Testosterone in larger does....only in the Summer bro if you want to gain more weight and strength for the season.
If you aren't 190 or more then you are small in ice hockey...as you well know.

"In season" keep the testosterone dose down to 120mg/week ....that will put your T level at 1500ng/dl at least and well above "high normal". Don't use any steroids on top of this in the "in season". 150mg of testosterone per week would be an absolute max dose...but you'll gain some water weight on this dose unless you use an estrogen inhibitor like arimidex. The water gain will mess with your aerobic capacity and the useless weight will slow you down on the ice too.

The best PED for hockey is epo without a doubt.
Ephedrine will jack you nicely for all out efforts on the ice too
If you learn to use epo correctly and safely then you will be an animal in the 3rd period when everyone else is fatiguing.

Cheers

RG
