About six months ago I was diagnosed with a lung disorder ( alpha 1 antitrypsin ) my particular type affects the lungs. How it works I think is there is reduced serum that protects the lungs alveoli from damage from such things as dust, smoke, environmental pollutants etc. It does and will lead to emphysema in the future for me. Im 22 now, and the doc said not before mid 40s but he is unsure and that it is hard to say. Primarily what im concerned with is the affect of AAS on my lungs, I dont see a problem really ( tren cough maybe ), but like the thoughts of others. The disorder is known to affect the liver also but my type ZZ? phenotype? the main concern is the lung tissue. I plan on beginning my first cycle in the near future, so would like to know the implications before I begin Thanks for help

Just let you know that I have no knowledge directly related to this problem. However, when I was a lad I had very weak lungs and was actually put on a mild dose of AAS to strengthen them. Now there very strong and have never had any problems with them since....just a thought

Just to let you know currently I suffer no symptoms of the disorder, it simply showed up in blood work that I had done for a virus. People have been known to have the disorder, and only find out about it due to emphysema from decades of heavy smoking. Im not overly concerned but just want to be informed.

Endorphins, I also suffer from a severe lung dissorder and I use aas andit helps greatly, no problems at all with the lungs. However, your situation is different and you should ask a doctor first. If you dont feel confident to go face to face, there are online doctors where you can email your questions and concerns and they will get back to you. Good luck bro.
