I know it probably wont make much difference but I thought I'd ask. I was all set to do 1st injection of test today, but yesterday I came down with a bad cold. Want to know if I should go ahead as planned with 1st injection or wait a couple of days? I figure it wont make any difference as the test wont kick in for couple of weeks & prob be over the cold in couple of days, but with it being my 1st time just thought I'd make sure.
Cheers.
I personally would wait until you are 100%.
Im just curious why I should wait though when I prob wont feel the test until way after the colds cleared up?

you should be better soon. listen to beezie. you want to keep training as much as possible and eat good too. when sick you might not eat good ,or train as hard as you want to. maybe even taking a couple days off training till feeling 100% might help you get better soon.

I just feel that you should start your cycle feeling 100%, you will have a much better start to your training if you go into this cycle feeling healthy and therefore motivated. If you start the cycle with a bad cold you will miss at least a week, and may not feel 100% for another few days after that until your body fully recovers. Its only a few weeks just be paitent and get better bro.

Agree 100%.Waiting another week isn't going to kill you.
Here's one I can answer from personal experience. Occasionally because of my MS I end up on weird and unexpected medications. My first AAS use was Anavar 40mg/day by prescription because of leg weakness. It was an attempt to help strengthen the legs so I could lift heavier and get better neural adaptation (MS is an autoimmune disease where the immune system attacks part of the nerves - not a muscle disease, but the effects are more readily apparent when the nerves are telling the muscles to be weak due to bad signals).
Anyway back to the anavar. Used it for two months. Got a cold in the 6th week - 2 weeks to go. Instead of being gone in two weeks I had it for almost a month. Apparently part of why AAS helps with recovery is cortisol suppression. Cortisol is one of those nasty stress hormones which inhibits recovery. However it is also one of those helpful hormones which gives the immune system a boost to help us fight off viruses and bacteria. It shouldn't have had that profound of an effect but combined with the other immunosuppressive meds I was on - it compounded the effect.
End result, if you are sick...don't suppress your immune system in any way. What's another 10 days to get better results from your cycle?
That's the reason why when I had pneumonia we waited until I was completely well and even the minor bronchitis that was left over had gone away before starting my TRT.
I hope this helps you make the best decision for yourself.
Take care.
OK, thanks.
