liver damage :winny inject versus winny oral It's common knowledge that Stanozolol injects are less harmful for the liver than stanozolol orals. I think we all can agree on that...

Well, I actually questioned the science behind these claims, and tried getting to the bottom of this, and I couldn't find a single study supporting this. Questioning the subject even got me rediculed, pointing time after time to the article, winny orals vs winny injects, by Anthony Roberts(google search it, can't miss it). But well, the claims Anthony does about 1st pass and 2nd pass are questionable at best, without anything to support his work. Hell, even hooker himself is very questionable.

Of course, now I was determined to find the bare truth, and, let's be honest, there is no forum better to find that than this one. And thus I came across a certain statement of moderator jboldman

actually first pass usually refers to the cyp p450 metabolism that occurs in the bowel wall along with the liver, avoiding this just increases the eventual load on the liver.

Now I think if this is true, it is huge, and even though he went into the subject a little further in the same topic, imo it needs to be debated even more, because as of now, steroid dogma states " 17aa injects are less harmful for the liver as their oral version" as a proven fact and plenty of people favour painful injects just to protect their liver.

If anyone had more information, I would appreciate it a lot.

Fascinating articles.
My experience with liquid winny taken orally was very good for muscle building and somewhat hard on liver functions.
I ran a couple of 6-12 week cycles on high does that way with equivilent time outs in between.
Then I tried site shots of winny ed in the dlets (great move, right?)
I didn't notice any better effect of the winny, and it may have worked even less.
I did develope a burn on one delty that caused me to abrubtly stop that cycle, and I will not spike winny into such a small muscle group so frequently anymore.
If I wanted to cycle winny again, it would be with a pre-test for liver values, and a post=test for comaprison.
But I think my l;iver wouldn't tolerate it that well since I am a fine friend of high dosage aas anyway.

I never believed that winny injects were less harmful to the liver, that's myth imo, it's still a 17aa and must be broken down by the liver regardless.

liftsiron is a fictional character and should be taken as such.

Big Cat mentions this is a topic regarding reducing hepatoxicity from halo by administering sub lingual. What I got from the post was that there are other ways in which orals are broken down aside from the liver. When taken orally, the liver gets it first. When injected, it is a bit more evenly distributed. I must admit he didn't post any references. So, take this post for what it's worth.

The poster of the thread I refer to is hitmeback, in case you wanted to search it.

For the new guys reading the thread: I, and all of my fellow mods, seem to be in agreement that the liver isn't the concern. One should focus moreso on a 17aas effects on the heart.
