Let's say theoretically someone has some test enanthate powder. In storage, it either becomes melted, or humid, to the point where it is now completely a paste. Is the hormone ruined, and if not, is there any way to store as powder again? The paste would make for an incorrect weight, correct? Any input is appreciated.

It could be that water has condensed on it... Which would fuck things up. If that is the case, what I would do is to find an empty mayonase or pickle jar. Clean it, and put a good amount of damp rid (calcium chloride-- sold where laundry detergent is in the supermarket) and put it in the bottom of the jar. (or, you could bake epsom salts for several hours at the highest temperature your oven will go to, and quickly transfer to the dry pickle jar. Shut the lid and seal it with electric tape. If you use baked epsom salts, allow to cool in the jar.

Now, open the original container the TE is in. Fasten a coffee filter around the container (so it is open to air), and put it inside of the sealed pickle jar with the CaCl2 or MgSO4. The CaCl2 will absorb the water out of the TE.

Ive had that happen more than a few times and used the paste with no problem. The first few times I actually had gotten some it came in a paste, then one time it came in a powder I swore up and down it was fake because I thought it was always a paste. In any case if you get the enanthate powder hot enough (which doesnt take much really) it turns to that goopy paste. Its fine to use. Its a PAIN to work with. Best thing to do is throw it in the freezer then you can break chunks off to weigh it as its nearly impossible to work with as a paste.

The weight will be the same whether it's powder or paste.

I concur with bosshog 100%. It's NOT ruined.

Tripple wrap the leftovers in three freezer bags, squeeze all the air out, and put it in a deep freeze and it'll keep for years and years.

Get a good powder or reloading scale and it's easy to measure the correct amount.

W.

looks like you got good stuff, melting point of te is 36-38degrees C., that is around 98 degrees f! you can always tell if your te is pure if it turns to goo. i have some that liquified and then turned solid, i just break of chunks and get it close.
