Well the fina comes in pellets which has binders and crap mixed in with it so the coffee filter helps get the big stuff out before you fine filter it. Hormone powders are just plain powder with out those binders so it filters alot easier than fina. I've done fina before and it was a pain in the ass. Done my first powder batch of deca recently and it was pretty easy. 100ml with one whatman filter and no problems.

Damn 100 ml out of one filter? I just got 5 of the .45 um ones. I figure that should be enough hopefully to convert 90 grams.

Thats what I used, the 25mm Whatman 0.45um. Don't know if this helped or not but I filtered while my oil was still warm off the stove.

Yeah I know to filter it warm from the instructions on the website. Like I said before though they still clog even when warm.

Yeah if you push too hard the plunger will give out on you and then you have a mess. I don't know about pushing air when most of the syringe is full of oil. You would probably see some bubbles in there.

I used two .45um ones. I think what I was doing before was trying to purge the filter with air from time to time in the process. Now that you mentioned it, maybe it did clog it. Those smaller filters are garbage though. I'd always use the .45 now. I didn't bake this time, do you guys think its necessary? Some say it may damage the integrity of it.

I'm not sure what you mean? I was using a 3cc pin that I filled up all the way every time, then purged it at the end with 2cc's. The bigger 10cc and 20cc syringes didn't seem to work as good last time. It took longer with a 3cc pin but no clogs.

when you push the oil through the rig don't push it all out before refilling.. the idea is not to push air through the filter until the end..

after filtering 100ml od boldenone undecylenate I desided to take the filter apart(25mm GDX 0.45 PVDF) So who still thinks that filtering isnt needed.

Damn, I've never seen them that dirty. My 20 grams looked like oil in there, but I didn't take it apart.
