Hi Everyone
I'm 39 and I lift 3 days a week. About 12 weeks ago I started boxing about 6 to 8 hours a week and I love it. The problem is that at 39 my body just doesn't recover like it used to. I've done a few test cycles before and I know this increased my recovery rate but it also left me a little short of breath and I really don't want to hurt my boxing which is my primary focus right now. What I was thinking of doing is taking 30 to 40mg of Anavar a day for a month or two so I don't have to slow down my pace.

Is this a reasonable plan or am I totally off base.

Low dose test seems a better idea. IMHO, orals must be avoided at all costs.

Just wondering if you have been sleeping well and deeply.

Yes I get 7 to 10 hours of sleep a night. Most nights I sleep really well but sometimes I get a bad night. I never really expected boxing to take some much out of me. Hardest cardio I've ever done. Today I could barley lift because I'm just exhausted. Normally I avoid orals except as a kick start to a cycle. I had considered Anavar because it seemed like it did everything I was looking for which is mainly help in recovery so I don't get into a over training state. Of course I might be reading too much into what Anavar can do for me so it might not help at all.
Thanks for you impute I really going to lean on you guys with more experience before I do anything.

Anavar is no good for endurance. If you use an oral, you would be better off taking MDHT or Halotestin.

also, try using contrast showers and massage if you can afford them.

they help alot with recovery

dtto for the showers. Massage also I guess

low dose test around 150mg a week should go down well, btu then again it's all temporary eh?

Do youknow your test/hormone levels?

I nmust say though even at 28 for me, doing another sport (eg cycling) and then to go and do weigths is a tough one...then again my hormone levels are not great either.

See the endurance board, search for all Miggy's posts, somewhere in there he discusses Anavar messing up his endurance. Also, on another site, a guy that was into extreme fighting, or something like that, posted a detailed log of his oral cycle. Basically, on Anavar he felt like crap, on Tbol, he felt pumped, and ready to go. But TBOL caused cramping in me, so I'd agree with the other guys, Testosterone seems to work the best for me. You eating enough? Drinking enough water? If I lifted 3 times a week and tried to do alot of heavy cardio I'd be tired too....test. or no test.

Having a complete blood work done is a very important idea here.

You don't want too much mass or heavy pumps if you're boxing. I like guijr's low dose test idea.

Ok well I think I'll go with a low dose of test based on your recommendations. I'm not really trying to put on too much size right now and I'm having a great time boxing. Im also going to get a blood workup done just to check things out.

Thanks for the help everyone.

yeh öppl if u want to cycle i guess u can take a chance and not have tests...but if youre thinking long term youll need blood test before and during..checl how your body responds...stil nolt sure if ur thinking trt or not?

by far the safets is test...i personally wont go above 3-4 weeks with an oral...i think its just cool to be safe lol

also test makes me feel great...anything other than tbol ...any other orals i tired i didnt like.
