you basically have the powders immersed in all the solvents, ba and half the oil, i see no issue with overheating particularly with the water bath as the temps never go above 212. when you microwave jsut do it in ten to 15 second bursts until you achieve the temp you wnat or everything is dissolved, with TE this is really easy since TE is almost liquid at room temp.
