There's a couple of boards i'm on where many folk talk about starting a cycle by frontloading, something like twice the usual dose. If they are going to run 500mg EW they frontload with one shot at 1000mg for example.
Is there anyone here that does this?
What's the idea?

If you are referring to front-loading with a long-estered Testosterone then...
Front-loading 500mg/wk...
Day 1: 500mg
Day 2: 250mg
Day 3: No Injections
Day 4: Start your normal injection protocol (250mg/E3D).
Within the first four days you should have injected 1000mg. Within the first week you should have injected 1250mg.
Blood testosterone volume is immediately elevated and reasonably stable the first week with the front load.
If you plan on using anti-estrogenic ancillaries on cycle, usage should begin on day 1.
This is the optimal front-loading protocol.

nice 3rd post!i've never seen it laid out like that, but it looks good and makes sense!
i've got to say though, having tried it both ways, i prefer to front load with a short ester...
