I just started taking finasteride recently and ever since I started I've been extremely depressed. So far it feels like I'm living under a dark cloud all the time. Does this stuff effect anyone else this way? I've even started to take an anti-depressant and it's not really helping much. Flyboy

I assume you're also on test? How much? Finasteride will block about 65% conversion of test to DHT. My doctor said it can affect your sex drive and/or could make you feel "not quite right". I'm not exactly sure what he meant - I've ever felt okay while taking it. Bottom line is different stuff affects us all differently. I'd be interested if anyone else had similar experiences. MZ

No depression, only serious aggression... I have always used Fina in combination with Test and Eq, this may be why I have not experienced anything but great results from the stuff...

I'm not on a cycle right now...I decided to start taking it long-term for my hair. I certainly don't feel "quite right" while on this stuff. I may stop taking it for a few days to see if I start to feel any better. Flyboy

I was told by an andrologist that he wouldn't reccomend anything that prevents reduction of test to DHT becase DHT is vital for mood and good sexual functioning. But he was coming from a standpoint of normal physiological test levels rather than the levels juicers may hit. Sounds like you're suffering the mood downside mate. At the end of the day the ladeeeez would rather be with a happy bloke with no hair than a miserable hirsuit sod, IMO. But of course I would say that being a baldy get! Shave it mate - it will be the best move you ever make - it's tremendously freeing. Once it's done you just dont give a fuck anymore....
