i have never done thigh injections because my legs were always skinny. i have a very hard time getting my legs to gain. now that they look normal i decided to inject there tonight & felt almost nothing. i have always heard about a 50/ 50 split opinion on quad injections being painless or painfull. all i can say is the other 50% must not be doing it right

I love quad shots, I like to se the juice goin' in! The first times for me were painfull becouse I did not do the right, but of course nowadays they're my favorite shot of the week, although for higher cc (3 or more) I always go butt!

i refuse to do them anymore. I have done delts, glutes, bis, and tris. All are easy, but I hate quads every time. my leg trembles and shit and I hate it. Also, when I did it my damn muscles would twich and it would hurt like a bitch. So i just stopped them altogether. that was over a year ago. Just will not do them at all now.

There has been no clinical evidence that spot injections (i.e. quads, shoulders, calves, etc.) will allow the steroid to bind to those specific receptor sites first. If this were true, our glutes would be friggin' enormous. Jabbing a needle into solid muscle (like one's legs) puts a lot of the needle into the muscle, providing a greater chance for irritation. But, in the ass, you're putting about a third of the needle in (because of the fat content there). This is why doctors give injections in the glute and not the thigh, the shoulder, or the calves. Thus, I recommend the ass. However, if you are going to shoot for the quad, then Bearcat's question is dead on -- What gauge needle are you using? Definitely use 23-25 gauge if at all possible. Also, if you can, find a shorter needle 0.5-1".

I'm in the medical field. I know all about injections. Granted, I'm new to injecting anabolic steroids like the "pros", do, but I do know the ins and outs of injections and the theories behind injection locations.

Try doing a shot in the glutes every day of the week for an entire cycle. You'll change your thoughts about not injecting elsewhere. I shoot glutes, quads, tri's, and delts and will probably try bi's and calves this time around too. For quads, 25 guage, 1 inch for me.
