The saying is ... better living through chemistry ... why wouldn't you take advantage of chemistry as you get older.

At 40 it stops being "taking steroids" and becomes replacement therapy. At 50 it becomes another tool in your belt, a way to achieve "longevity" and, of course, boink younger babes.
