The doc's got me on 5 gram pack of andro gel a day .
Which If I read correctly has 50mg of test in each dose .
My question is how much of the test is actuality absorbed ?
I was told to apply it on my shoulders .

Absorption varies greatly form person to person but about 10% is claimed form shoulder application. I usually would have put it on straight after a hot shower as according to SWALE this lets more in. Also I has heard that irritating the skin immediately before hand will help too as blood flow is increased to the area, I would do this by rubbing a towel abrasively over the skin then apply. This will cause a burning sensation for a while but nothing major.
If you REALLY want to inrease absorption then some suggest applying to scrotum but don't do this as it really, and I mean really burns there so badly that you have to get it rubbed off with cold water, been there done it - not funny at the time.
It's messy stuff and does not beat bi weekly Test Cyp injections in my opinion at all. 50mg of Androgel is a small dose and in many it is far too little to have real benefit and may put you with a lower Test level than you started with.
