Greetings,

I've not really worked out consistently for the better part of a year... and after trying multiple AAS with more loss than gain. I'd like to ask for some experienced guidance in a few questions and concerns on my mind.

Keep in mind I'm nearly 26 y/o

1) I feel that ever since the first cycle my libido has fallen off pretty noticeably- could it be that sex drive is just so much more enhanced on a cycle or could it be age (since a males sexual peak is at the age of 18 - 21 right?) Or may it even be that for the first time in my life I've been exclusively sleeping with the same woman for a year?.. lol

2) Even though my last cycle was many months ago... I have the sense that I am still recoverying from it. My last cycle was 200mg/week of EQ for 12-15 weeks. I used proper PCT utilizing HCG/clomid/Nolva..

Consequently I'm gonna start taking 50 mg Clomid a day- every day for an extended period of time. I'm doing this in an attempt to stimulate my own test production

Could this potentially have any negative side-effects? Would it be advisable to take in some nolva simultaneously?

For those of you take the time to read and reply to this post you have my sincerest appreciation. Thanks in advance!

From my little experience with AS, I can tell you that after each cycle (usually Test x 500mg x 10wks) the effects of high acne on my face and back are still there. My acne will usually go away 6-8 months after each cycle.

My sexual libido seems to stay the same throughout my cycle also. Never lowers or increases. Six to eight months after my cycle though (after Clomid), my libido seems to decrease about 10% or so. Since I say 10%, it is probably all in my head.

I am also interested on this question. Someone else with more knowledge please comment.

The best and only sure fire way to be sure is to go ahead and get bloodwork done. If your insurance doesn't cover it you can find a local lab and get it done at a reasonable price. Normally insurance will cover a blood panel at least once a year.

On a side note, libido is a very touchy thing and is not exclusively dictated by test levels but instead by hormonal balances so don't judge your test levels solely on libido.

Nothing like a good porno movie (like Buttman's series) to increase libido.

Okay.... will deffinitely take that info into consideration...
I'm beginning to believe more and more that it is an issue outside of my hormonal balance.. but I should deffinitely get some blood work done... may even be able to get some HRT!!! (God I hope that the VA pays for it... lol Ex-Marine here!)

What about the Clomid & Nolva idea.... should I proceed with caution?

What are the side effects that are commonly experienced... Positive/Negative?

btw... may sound like a noob question... but dosen't Clomid have the effect of increasing your own test production? Would that also result in an increase of estrogen.... If so should I take Nolva in conjunction?

I know this is alot of questions.... and could perhaps be found elsewhere on this board. but if I could get any one of these questions answered I'd certainly appreciate it.

Most likely you are fine. Contrary to what the media and some other sources say, it is pretty hard to permanently screw up your HTPA with normal cycle length & dosage. Even without a proper PCT you should recover (just slower). You have to stay shut down pretty long to never bounce back.

Dont get all excited about HRT. It wont be like on cycle at all. It will be just enough to reach normal levels. You wont be making crazy gains or anything lol.

Still, I highly doubt that is the case at 26. It could be you are slowly losing that raging libido you remember at 21. I am 23 and in college. I've been with the same girl now for A LONG time. It does have some effect on sex drive (sad to say). Lets face it, the same girl over and over can get old. I call it the old shoe syndrome. I have experienced massive libido loss at times but never did I attribute it to AAS use. Numerous other things such as stress, longterm relationship and diet can effect it. I'm sure you know this but various medication can really kill it. You didnt list any so I assume you arent taking any. Something as simple as not enough slip can really alter ones sex drive. Try to get 7-8hrs a night.

Things to look for when you have a true test deficiency (aside from libido) would be very low energy, poor mood (depression), weakness, trouble holding gains even in light of good diet..etc.

Nolvadex is a better choice imo. I tend to break out more on Clomid also. Most of that is due to a true hormone drop-off and fluctuation at the end of a cycle but Nolva is still the favored choice of most. They are both a SERM so if you have clomid its fine. You could try nolva for 2-3 weeks at 20mg/day or try an OTC test enhancer/recovery agent like ATD (AI based, personally I think they are junk). If its really been months (more than 4) I highly doubt you are still suppressed even in a worst case scnerio. I wouldnt stay on clomid or nolva for an extended period of time. Also, dont try these anytime close to before blood work.

Again, I really doubt you have hurt your HTPA with the type of cycle you listed above but if you really want to get blood work done you will know for sure. If you had a true condition you would have known about it by now. And it is a little early for the normal age related dip in test. Often the mind is the most powerful aspect of this. Recovering from a cycle can last much longer than its should if you let your MIND get carried away. The mind leads and the body follows....

I thank you all for the great responses to my post.

Damn good post bro.

I also doubt that you have harmed your libido with aas. You may also want to give calias a shot. And yes for most of us our sex drive is greatly increased when injecting test.
