I am asking this question to hopefully help out a freind. he and his wife are trying to have children. They have been for some time now. After numerous miscariages he is anxiuous to get on a cycle. I tried to discourage him stating he should wait until she is pregnant but he seems pretty set on doing something. I have done some research but have found nothing conclusive. What aas can he use without negetively impacting his fertility? He has been off cycle for nearly 1 year. Also, would taking a small amount of HCG during cycle help maintain fertility?

Taking clomid before his cycle may give his fertility a boost. All steroids may inhibit fertility although I have known guys on 2grams a week concieve. Is he sure that he is the problem and not his wife?

He does not think he has a problem. I think he just wants to me sure he does not hinder the possibility of conception. Are you sure about the Clomid? I realize we are not rams but I did find this study Thoughts??

yeh Clomid won't hurt and might help.
As for AAS he shud def stay off if he wants to increase his chances.

I agree. He's a stuburn SOB. I guess I'll just present it as whats more important to him. A baby or a cycle............should be an easy choice.

Clomid is used for males by fertility specialists.

Adding a small amount of HCG or, better yet, hmg (which I've seen around latley) would be a good idea.

One would think he could. that is what I am trying to tell him but like I said he is a thick headed sob. thanks to all for the info. I will pass it along to him.
