yes and yes. with the bench press, why dont u try doing alot of other assist movements...alot of tricep work...alot of speed reps.... seriously go look in the powerlifting forum, read the stickys there...if u want to get strong, THAT is the way to do it. I Have started an 8 week natural power routine myself, right out of the powerlifting forum, and Ill tell u the workouts are great! They are so different, and all the exercises are new! I have sore bodyparts that have never been sore before! I dont get to test my max strength gains out for another 8 weeks, but when I do, ill let u know how I did. Seriously, I havent had this much fun training in YEARS!!
