I've read all over that one is better off doing short acting insulin like Humulin R than a longer acting one. With this in mind I'm about to use Humulin, but a friend told me that even though Lantus acts for 24 hours, it's very safe becouse there are no "peaks" in its effectivenes so one gets the same dose all day long, that is asuming that one shoots right after workout in the morning. Has anyone use Lantus yet? I would very much appreciate the info.
The idea of using Lantus is absurd. I am very fimiliar with this insulin so just trust me on this. If you are going to be a retard and fuck around with insulin use only Humalog because it most closely mimics the natural insulin response insofar as peaks and valleys go. Peaks and valleys are good when dealing with insulin. Better yet put more $ into juice and other supplements as the margin for error here can be narrow. ie you can really fuck yourself up, I hope it is not too late for that...
No, it's not to late, thanks. But rest assure that I've done my homework, Lantus was just a question.
Stick to faster acting slin for sure. I would avoid it alltogether. Slin is nasty and too risky for most users. If you do run it be very careful.
Thanks for the advice, but I'll take my chances, although I'll be very carefull; I want to try it because all of my friends who tried it have had very good gains. I have a lot of material on the matter and read almost everything, and my bros here will not let me to be stupid about it.
If you want to be a sumo wrestler lantus would be a good way to pack on the fat.
