Ok since bacteriostatic water is just water with some BA couldnt a guy just run some distilled water through a filter to add it to a water based homebrew since that will have BA in it already??? end result would still be sterile water with BA correct??

Pretty much, yeah. I made my own Bac water by filtering distilled water into a vial and adding 1% BA.

I use bi-distilled demineralized water and 1% BA.
