Accutane in Mexico??

yes, the spanish name is roaccutane. it is the same stuff. the active ingredient is isotrentonin (spelling?) I would use the accutane while you're off. It has an ability to dry up oil glands and actually "change" the type of oil that they produce resulting in less clogging of pores and ultimately zits. When you are swinging your hormone levels around, undoubtedly you will still get a little acne, but with proper accutane treatment your skin can be changed forever. The only problem with getting it in Mexico is 1) its going to be expensive (cheaper than in US, but still expensive 2) what dose do you take? The way to handle that is just to go to a dermatologist and fess up. They can prescribe the proper dose ( I was on 60mgs a day for like two months) and keep a close watch on your cholesterol, etc. Then, when you've completed treatment you can get small dose (10mg) boxed from mexico and use it as spot treatment during future cycles. I think all you can get in Mexico is the 20mg and the 10mg strength. 20mg for 20 tabs might be around $125 US. That's a lot. My insurance was paying like $400 per month when I was on it. Now I just get a 10mg 20 tab box every once in a while for spot treatment from a source. Acne free.
