.. GRRRRRR ... work is just killing me lately!! We've got HUGE projects going on and about 1/3 of the time to do stuff .. and we just get more to do with less of everything else .. people, resources, and what have you .. I am sure everyone here can relate to this in one way or another but I've gotta say something or something bad will happen .. how is it that things go from 'No, you won't have to do anything on this' to .. 'here you need to do X, Y, Z PLUS everything else in the same time .. and all is equally top priority .. GRRRRR ... DQ

Sounds like poor delegation of authority to me. Do you work with a bunch of lazyasses or is your boss lazy? Seems like they would be willing to chip in and help increase productivity whether it was in their job description or not. Why don't you suggest to your boss that the projects could be handled faster and more efficiently if the work was divided more evenly? Doc

I feel you. My friends and I were just talking about this today. It seems like no one cares about doing a good job anymore. They just barely do what they HAVE to to get by. It's bullshit that the people who have some dignity have to pick up everyone's slack. I'm supposed to get off at 5 everyday. I never get to leave until at least 6 or 6:30. I hate work cutting into my workout time. That's "ME TIME" !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
