I know it's not healthy, but lets put that aside and say a person was just tired of messing with the nutrition and calories and fat and all the other crap and wanted a break. Just eat when your hungry and forget all the other stuff. I'm thinking low fat cottage cheese. You good amount of protien, the hard dairy and low fat / calorie. Iegther that or a low cal/low fat cerial with skim milk. Oh - forgot, I jotted down a few things for those here that do the powders and high protiens and such. Whey Powder $2.95 / 16oz Soy Protien Consentrate Powder $4.19 / 16oz Soy Protien Consentrate Flakes $4.19 / 16oz 1-800-502-8058 (the have a website I'll get if anyone wants it) I don't know if these are good products or good prices, just thought I'd pass it on - I hear soy and tofu are supose to be excellent for you.
For me tuna is my one perfect food. I should add I hate tuna though. But it rocks for dieting.
Spurulina...

McDonald's double cheesburger, double stacked into a quadruple cheesburger. Well, not really, but I wish it was the perfect nutritional food.
A berry flavored yogurt with cottage cheese, a few tbsp of uncooked oats, and a diced up banana. Raisin bran w/ added raisins and crushed up almonds. A mini pizza w/ pita bread, cheese, veggies, and some sandwich meat toasted in a toaster oven. Cottage cheese w/ a fruit salad ... pinapple ... etc ... if you can name it throw it in.
Actually, the spirulina is a superior food in many respects........
Men don't process soy as well as women do so it is not as excellent for us as it is for you...Storm

I'm not into large doses of paranoia, but I don't think its good for you at all in an "overall" sense despite its specific benefits............if i'm going to get sides, and I guess most things give you some sides, I would prefer it to be a complete rather than an incomplete protein....others may differ...... http://www.aquarianonline.com/Wellness/soy.html http://www.nexusmagazine.com/soydangers.html http://www.mercola.com/2001/sep/15/soy_formula.htm
>For me tuna is my one perfect food. >I should add I hate tuna though. But it rocks for dieting. ...I love tuna mixed with mirical whip of course, then put on bread (not to mention all the stuff that goes in there as well. But plain out of the can? Nasty. I do however make mac n' cheese for real quick lunches (with little light oleo and skim milk) and add alot of tuna to a little mac n' cheese. That's about the best 'diet' way I've found to eat tuna. Anyone find a better way? What is spirulina? Never hear of it.
tuna and pineapple is OK. But I dont need the extra carbs while dieting.
the besat way for tuna, a bit of mayo and some lemon pepper.

By-the-way if you're getting soy from isolated soy protein mixes, they lack plant estrogens common in soy beans because of the isolation and refining process. As for processing soy, men have pepsin, just like women do, for digesting amino acids. Back to the subject:biglaugh: There is no perfect food! Even if a food has proteins, carbs, and fats, they still don't have every vitamin and/or mineral the body requires.
Eggs and tuna get my vote......bad for people caught in your wind, but good for the cutting diet.
