anyone use this as a carb source when cutting? I'm experimenting with it as it's just easier to guage portion size.
I also really enjoy the flavor compared to rolled oats.

Yes JB and seriously. I haven't budged an ounce since I set weight loss as a goal some time ago--I also have not been to serious or committed. I'll do a post in the proper arena and get some feedback.

I basically swapped any carb I'd take frim rising to mid afternoon from whatever I was taking (fruit, toast, vegggies, rolled oats, etc) for the oats. I eat approx. 2-3 cups per day. This is combined with whey protein shakes. I may add some frozen berries to the oats right after they cook.
Doing this, I have stopped going to the submarine shop next to the gym for lunch after workouts.

i remember a diet i went on that consisted of unsweetened grapfruit juice and raw whole oats with protein powder. It really worked!

thanks, JB. That's the kind of thing that would work for me--I have no problem eating the same foods day after day for weeks. There is something about the grapefruit juice and Testosterone that escapes me now. If I find it, I'll post it. Thanks again.

thanks. I assume you are old enough to remember the old "grapefruit diet". Popular around the time of the "water diet". These were one of many my mother used before finding success with Weight Watchers.
