Whats wrong with you homo's? Tuna milkshakes are the answer lol............ AR, mate even twin brothers can dislike some things!!!
Originally posted by samm HEy all, As the title says i am sick of eating tuna and can only force myself to eat it, but it is pretty cheap. Is there a better alternative?? Also i have been thinking of eating beef mince rather than buying expensive steaks, what do u's reckon?? Advice would be much appreciated. Have you tried the flavored tuna? There are pouches that are flavored like smoked, lemon pepper, sweet +spicy, and herb. These are awsome. especially the smoked and lemon pepper. Try these bro and you will like them. RICK
I think it is the quality of the tuna you purchase. I enjoy SAFCOL...the fish tastes fresher than the other brands and has less fishy flavour. You can also try rinsing and draining the tuna and cooking it in a wok with spices such as tarragon or chillies and splenda.
the green seas tuna pouches are unreal,,,yummmmmmmmmmmmmm
Curry powder and lemon juice. No extra kjs.
Add flavor or limit how much you eat of it. i eat it once a day offseason because i feel it's good to get protein from a fish source but i'll probably add some sauses to it from now on. If you really can't handle it stick to chicken, turkey, beef and veal.
Cheers, Thanks for all the advice, i think i may just add a few things to it to make it more tasty. What do u's reckon of substituting steaks for beef mince, because i have to eat at work and eating reheated mince is a lot easier than eating reheated steaks. ??
NEVER!!! I buy my tuna in bulk. Boxes of 24*185g ring-pull tins in olive oil. Mmmm... Very convenient too 🙂
I buy my tuna in bulk. Boxes of 24*185g ring-pull tins in olive oil I thought Olive Oil was a big No No ??
Olive Oil is a "good" fat i thought. Could be wrong.
olive oil is good , in moderate ammounts, flax is far more benificial and nutritious
Originally posted by Aust.325 I thought Olive Oil was a big No No ?? Good for keto... and of course flavour! I always drain the tuna thoroughly with a strainer though. However, I've found that when eating tuna and salad alone, tuna in olive oil is far better as tuna in srpingwater winds up way too dry and I always end up putting olive oil on it as a garnish.
