great call on the ethnic markets...the other way to go is to find an actual butcher...tell him or someone in authority with the shop what's up and that you'll be in every Wed. say to buy XYZ worth of meat and see if you can hook up a discount...I have a guy I've used for years...has my order ready each week when I get there...gives me a BIG discount cause I pay cash...and gives me really nice cuts...if you have a butcher in your area I HIGHLY suggest giving this a try...

Wow bro, that's a little heavy on the protein>? around 110grams? Does sound kinda rough, but good and cheap that's for sure! Im actually living with my family right now and im trying to eat what I can with them that somehow represents mass gaining food, but it is very difficult! I've been buying these chicken breast's from Walmart-(made my schnieder) i know they are pressed chicken, and not actual breast's but they're $8 for about 10 small breast's which is very cheap protein!
Lots of Oats and Pasta (prettyu much my only carb source besides potatoes) and also the only healthy fat's im taking in are Nat. PB, and trout that im catching in the river! (these are great, trying to look up the nutritional info on them now ๐

Aldi is a good place to shop and I have seen them all over the midwest....I just would be careful buying the meat.
Where are your peanut butter sandwiches? Where is the grilled cheese? Do you make egg salad ? Also canned sardines (with hot or jerk sauce) Get familiar with your local discount supermarkets check flyers/get coupons. Consider shopping with another gym member to buy in bulk and then split the cost. I buy lots of chicken thigh and drums one day baked, then curried then with your fav pasta sauce and ww spag. You need a base protein that you can modify. I am in the same boat myself...good luck!

Grilled cheese?! haha no protein in that puppy! very little anyway! just to update you bro's, my bulking diet is going successfully, im 198 right now at about 11% BF, and i've been eating very well considering my budget !lots of tuna/milk/oats/potatoes, veggies frozen, im doing good! Im going to keep pushing until i hit 220 or 17% BF, whatever comes first!

close to 35 lbs When I posted my pics, 10 months ago, I was about 158-160., and as of today im about 197-199lbs, i feel great, my arm's grew a full inch , and im going to keep pushing hard, and eating hard ๐ i love it, and im more then addicted I love the sport, i love being bigger then the next guy! i love the compliments, i live for this now! ๐

I have one update for everyone! It's February! That means March is only 9 days away, and in the second week of march im going to start my fall bulking cycle, and try to put on as much weight as possible over the winter months! I am currently 196lbs, @ 11% bf (ab's still visible when tightening), I am going to try go up to around 215-220 by April next year! Im really not worried about gaining fat, my body seems to just burn through everything right now as my metabolism is through the roof! I will be starting a Journal Thread just as soon as the GrowXXL guy's open it up ! ๐ Hope to see you guy's there! ๐
Cut out the crystal light and drink water...yes its "diet" but u will gain more water than you will lose fat...all fake sugar does that. I have been trying to maintain leanness all summer and so have not eaten very well, or at least the way that I want to....so all summer, my weight has remained steady at 230/ 240 lb as i have become leaner and leaner...I am afraid that when i actually begin to EAT, (and I mean EAT) i am going to get some stretch marks, and weigh 270 by next spring..... sounds like you got it goin on, man, just don't let the fat cells get away with you...JJ (oops, did you catch it?)

1) I don't understand how you can link sugar substitutes with that claim. since they have no calories how can it affect the amount of fat being lost?
