Just wondering what you have (including supplements) before bedtime. And how long before sleeping you eat that meal? Please include the quantity.

This is where I am not so healthy. Eating large meals before bed can disturb sleep, but I do it all the time.

Here's an example:
I'll start with 24 ounces of milk (1%), along with some of my sugar-free, fat-free protein pudding (4ounces ~25 grams of protein). Then I'll add in a hand full of cashews.

One hour before bed, I have apProtein shake (30 grams of protein including the milk). No supplements. I take my supplements throughout the day.

Yeah that is the main problem for almost all people suffering from the stubborn weight they cant lose. Eating before bed. Major weight packer. If you are needing to lose lots of weight dont eat after 5pm or 6pm. Then right before bed maybe fat free cottage cheese or skim milk, 1/2c - 3/4c cottage cheese, and 10-16oz skim milk. Mucho Grande Nacho with extra meat and cheese and a half gallon of non-diet soda makes a great weight gainer eaten right before bed.

You guys would be so jealous if you saw how easy it was for me to drop weight. I've gone from 12 percent to 6 percent in 8 weeks.

On the other hand, I can't put on weight like some of my good friends. I eat twice as much and they gain twice as much. My metabolism is just so high. Luckily, it's been down a bit lately. No more 5k+ days, yay!

R2E,
It is a tricky thing to decide. Which is better, fast metabolism or gain weight/muscle easily. Guess it depends on the particular goals. I am content with my 10-12 percent bf and at 237 pounds. If i was 6 percent bf and weighed in at 185 i am not sure i would be as happy. All desire of the individual though. Make it a poll anyone???

I think everyone wants what they don't have. For example, I'm blessed with arms and traps, but no calves and my chest is just starting to come around. But guess which muscles I want more than anything? LOL It's human nature. What's exciting now is that I'm finally starting to settle within my skin. My body image isn't nearly as bad as it used to be.

Glad to hear it bro. It's a sign of maturity.

As for the calves, mine are so big, they make my quads look small when they really aren't. It's genetics. Both my kids are developing big calves already and they're six and 12.

Loin of Ahi Tuna, cooked blue as you like, cracked black pepper, squidge of lemon, steamed spinach and brocolli florets, tiny drizzle of balsamic and hemp oil dressing (only on the S and B). With raspberries , rice dream ice cream and grated dark chocolate
Sh*t now I have to go eat again. Tally Ho !!
