IGF-lr3 reconstituted with BA

Can igf-lr3 be reconstituted with BA? I hope so because thats what i did - added 2 mls of BA...Is it ruined?

i would not advise it. I know of a certain supplier who used to sell it that way but in general i do not think this is advisable. try it and find out, it will not hurt you.

I've been reconstituting with BA. What should you be using. Its a pain that the suppliers don't provide instructions for the research chemicals they sell. Its hard for me to determine if the product is performing in my experiments. Please advise.

I believe the current trend is to reconstitute with an acetic acid solution. I don't know the details, but I think it is something like 1% acetic acid in bacteriostatic water.

gropep recommends 100 mM acetic acid and they are the gold standard.

Only one supplier I've dealt with provided acetic acid with their product. Even the Cem store doesn't provide the acetic acid or instructions. Where can the acetic acid be obtained. I've looked around and haven't been very successful.
