I am going to start a cutting cycle in January and I was curious as to what healthy fats you guys include in your diet? I'm already eating avocados, natural peanut butter, and olives......what are some more choices?
All that is good plus flax seed oil, nuts and seeds...
Has anyone tried MCT oil?
Almonds Sunflower Seeds Peanuts Cashews Ground up flax seeds (taste like shit but high in protein and fats). Canned virgin olive oil (not in glass jar) Pumpkin seeds
Flaxseeds, flaxseed oil, fish (omega 3)essential fats olives, olive oil (mono unsaturated) nutsand most plant fats are good sources of fat, except coconut oil and canola oil(saturated fat)
I use MCT's in my MRP .. I also use Hemp oil. Sesame is a decent oil i didnt see mentioned.
Thanks for all the feedback guys:D
I think the function of mct is more towards providing energy requirement, whereas flaxseed, fish oil(LCFA, o-3 & 6) is for all the other anti-inflammatory, cholestrol and LDL lowering effects. 🙂
I haven't tried it yet and i've heard it tastes like shit, but it's the best fat out there. DR. UDOS oil. I think that's how it's spelled.
bump.

I think it tastes pretty good, especially in choclate milkshakes I eat avocados alot, fish like salmon and cod liver oil capsules. I cook in olive oil. Those are my sources pretty much
AVOID PEANUT BUTTER-especially the name brand ones which they are LOADED with saturated fats/hydrogenated vegetable oil.(Try natural almond butter instead) SAlmon oils, Flax, Nuts/seeds. Try Nuts/seeds such as Almonds, Cashews, Pumpkin seeds and sesame seeds
