My favorite is the Reese's Peanut Butter Cup snack Dr. John Berardi recommends: 1 cup cottage cheese 1 scoop chocolate whey 2 Tbsp flax seed meal (not bad, but better without it.) 1 Tbsp natural Peanut Butter (but 2 is better) Splenda to taste. Mix it up and eat it - great right before bed for the casein. WOW - that sounds really good! Thanks for the recipe...

Just tried this; but instant jello chocolate pudding (sugar free/fat free) and go 3 servings of it with about 200g of egg whites, and 200g of fat free cottage cheese. Blend (you might want to try more egg whites, or maybe a little water as this is thick, like chocolate mousse; actually, it damn near is chocolate mousse) I look like a little kid right now with it all over my face trying to get more out from the cup. This recipe is a life saver. I absolutely love it for those rare monthly cravings. I add 1/2 cup of water to it so it's more like chocolate pudding. it look's completely discusting but if your brave enough to try it your hooked. Thanks, FoxELady:cheer2:

Antihero, Thanks again for the props. You should try this too. 1/2 - 1 cup nonfat cottage cheese 1 - 2 tablespoons cinnamon apple sauce or (better yet) apple butter. Apple butter is not actually butter but more like concentrated apple sauce with more flavor. It is usually not far from the peanut butter or the jams and jellies in the store. You can't beat cottage cheese for a late night snack since it has casein as the main form of protein which is very slow release to keep nitrogen balance positive through the night. Doc

late night casein snack. mix 1 carton fat free cottage cheese 1 pack sugar free orange jello 1 can of mandarin oranges, rinsed 1 tub fat free cool whip. Damn, I do the EXACT same thing. Sometimes I sub sugar free lime jello & it tastes like a key lime pie. Not exactly low -carb with the coolwhip and fruit, but it's pretty healthy for a dessert. I think it's like a 2:1 carb/protein ratio. I'm going to have fun trying some of these other on here recipes out! 😀

I didn't read all of them to be honest, but a personal fav of mine (not a recipe, but a topping) is to use ALOT of cottage cheese on a baked potato. I bake the potato with a bit of olive oil and garlic puree' and slather on the cottage cheese, ummm man is it ever awesome!
