Whats everyone's opinion on this ? Stuff like Cytomax, endurathon...or is just plain gatorade as good ?

it helps for long rides where you need some calories, but you have to find what works for you. Some drinks don't settle well in some people's stomachs.
i prefer to make my own drinks from table salt, table salt substitute (potassium), and various types of sugars. You could even add your own flavor, i don't since the sugar/saltwater goes down easy. Very cheap to make too.
What types of sugars ?
sucrose (table sugar) is easy to find and cheap, works well. I also have fructose, dextrose and maltodextrin that i can use. I try to use more complex sugars as a slower release type thing, not sure if the different types matter all that much.

Rock salt, Sucrose, and dextrose for me, the dextrose can be found for cheap if you buy it in bulk from the home brew section of your local store or supermarket.
There's lots of Intra-workout supplements you can drink, My favorite is just simple BCAA's and complex Carbs. But things like Synthesize and that kind of stuff is meant for during.I like also Xtend, particularly on a diet.When bulking I find myself too full and prefer water because I usually eat a good amount of carbs preworkout.
