Are they really as chronic as I am getting them? Am I doing something wrong? I seem to keep having problems. One thing I think might contribute is that when you get an enlarged prostate and you cannot go to the restroom it makes it worse... and by can't, I mean work breaks. That is the only thing I think may be the culprit. I have been gear free for a long long time. I take my supplements to support it. I will be starting back on avodart this friday and hopefully get some cipro. Any other tips?

Also the problem is when you go to urinate and it burns (especially after taking a crap) and you have that pain that goes all the way up into the urethra and around the prostate itself so Pretty much include the perineum area. Can anyone relate?

I remember you talking about this for awhile now. I think that you should get a complete check out by a urologist. Careful with the cipro it really weakens tendons for awhile during and after use.

Agree, a Urologist will help you.

I have had same problems for years, Until I finally found out I kept getting urinary tract infections.
Seems I was not drinking enough water and for some odd reason they would subside. May be it was from the cranberry extract I used. I went to a urologist and they gave the old finger up the ass routine and said my prostate was fine. He gave me cipro and it cleared right up. But every now and then I get it again and just drink more water and use cranberry extract.
I was in pain as well it felt difficult to even sit.
