Weekdays I get up at 05.30 and either train at 06.00 or go in to work early. Usually hit the sack around 11.00 at night. So, I only get 6.5 hrs per night which is NOT ideal for BBIng. What can I say, I have a demanding career, a young family and I still pursue my BBing agenda so it is just a matter of comprimise and balance. Would love to get more but I seek success in all facets of my life so I have to comprimise somewhere. Weekends are nice. ๐Ÿ™‚

I can relate to those hours Mr Aust. Young family, business and busy life. I crash around 11.30 or Midnight and get up between 4.30 and 5.00 AM. My sleep in, is 6AM on saturday. I have been like this for years and I think too much sleep is worse than not enough. People spend half their life sleeping. Sleep when your dead you will have plenty of time to catch up.

I generally get up at about 5.10am in order to get to the gym and train at 6.00am..... Get to bed by 10.30pm most nights (or before if I am particularly stuffed). That would mean that most days I get a grand total of 6.5 hours sleep. I generally try to catch up on wednesday (non training day) or the weekend.

I usually need 8-9 hours sleep but when I am close to a comp my body seems to be way more efficient at recovering and I only need 6.5-7hrs. And that's going to bed absolutely stuffed.

5.30 am ready for gym or cardio at 6.00 am. In weekends try and get up early to make the most of the days! ๐Ÿ™‚

5am up, Sun is already rising at that time here in QLD. Gym at 6am. Bed about 930pm (sound like an old man) Same on weekends, like MC, hate sleeping in and wasting the day! Nothing like sitting on the beach, with a fresh baked pie (off season) and watching the sun rise at 5am, already mid 20 deg's at that time in QLD:)
