How is it possible for someone that's taking steroids all year round to monitor his prostate health ?
I mean ,PSA and any type of blood test will probably be out of control,or won't they ?
There are no symptoms of hyperplasia or anything, just asking about prevention and just monitoring general health.
Would a digital exam and an echo be enough every ,say,1-2 years ?
Anything else ?
that is plenty, a digital every year and a psa along with it. i have been doing this for many many years and have never had any problems with my prostate, in fact i got a digital exam last week with no problems.
of course you should be alert to symptoms such as difficulty in urinations, decreased flow and difficulty starting and stopping flow. i use saw palmetto on a regular basis
Ultrasound, PSA, and (sad but true) rectal touch done by an urologist are gold standard.
