What supplements do you take while on cycle ? I cut back on supplements mainly because of the money I spent on the gear already, but I am wondering if I should be doing more. The supps' I took lifting natural was Results that had creatine mono, HMB, and beta Al. in it. Thanks.

Carb IT, a protein blend, glutamine, a whole food multi. These things I take all the time no matter what.

Vitamin D3
• is the cheapest and easiest intervention in medicine that would save the most lives and money
• is a pro-hormone that gets converted into the most potent steroid hormone in the human body
• is produced 4 times less in a 70 year old versus a 20 year old
• is normally produced via your skin exposure to sunlight -- however, adequate sunlight exposure is NO guarantee of adequate D3 levels as I have experienced in clinical practice
• is decreased in production due to clothing, sunscreen, skin pigmentation, amount of body fat and prescription drugs
• explains why there is a 25% higher breast cancer mortality rate of Black American women versus white American women in state to state comparisons
• explains why there is a much higher incidence of high blood pressure and periodontal disease in Black Americans
• has been shown to positive affect health in the following diseases:
o heart disease, stroke, hypertension (high blood pressure)
o auto immune diseases, multiple sclerosis (MS)
o Type I and Type II Diabetes Mellitus
o depression, chronic pain, osteoarthritis
o osteoporosis, low back pain and muscle weakness
o periodontal disease, childhood bone health, infectious disease
o 17 different types of cancers sensitive to Vitamin D3
• It is estimated the Vitamin D3 if taken at the proper levels (measured via blood serum) would prevent the following:
o 50% of ALL fractures combined
o 50% of all falls in women
o 50-65% of multiple sclerosis cases
o 50-80% of Type I Diabetes Mellitus
o 39-75% of ALL cancers combined
o 50-55% of colon cancers
o 20-30% of Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma
o 50-67% of kidney cancers
o 50-67% of breast cancers
o 50% of uterine (endometrial) cancers
o 20% of ovarian cancers
o 46% of all North American cancer deaths in 2007 or 257,000 deaths from cancer
I'll bet you none of your regular physicians had even a clue of what Vitamin D3 can do for you as seen above. The next step would be to have your serum Vitamin D 25 Hydroxy level drawn and checked by your physician who is familiar with established guidelines for optimal levels of Vitamin D 25OH.

Give us some more info. I just did a little research on D3 and I see that it is a form of vitamin D that is naturally produced by exposure to sun light. Give us some more info on this product. Recommended dosages, recommended brands, What to look for in a D3 supplement, etc.

Here is some stuff I came up with:

Tolerable Upper Intake Level (UL) for Vitamin D
Infants 0-12 months- 1000 IU
Children 1-18 years- 2000 IU
Adults 19 years and older- 2000 IU

I got this info from Benefits of Vitamin D - Vitamin D3 Supplements. As far as I can tell though, that is just relating to Vit D not D3??

Sorry for the late response for additional info here you go:
Take 5000 I.U. in a pill form 1-2x per day
"Pure Encapsulations" makes a great product

In addition to the D3, as i had stated above, one should also include in their supplements:
~Resveratrol Extra
~Melatonin
~B12 Injections
~Magnesium
~iodine
~omega 3 fish oil
