I've been searching through some old threads and came up with another question...
What are your thoughts on long cycles and bridge cycles? I.E., I've seen it mentioned before that some of you run test cycles in the 600-800mg ranges for a period of time, and then in between your larger cycles, drop down to 200-400 mg for the same period of time before going back "on". Essentially staying on for most of the year.
Obviously there is a TRT aspect to this, but do those of you that do this still run any PCT when you drop dosages? And what, if any, do you think the ramifications of someone in their mid to late thirties who is in good general health running a program like this? I REALLY like the idea of staying "on" so to speak, but obviously, it's a practice that is normally only used by those who are older, or already have pre-existing T level deficiencies, yes?
we have talked about this before. I personally would not recommend anyone going on indefinitely if they are planning on starting a family. there have been many reports of bbrs who have been competitive bbrs who have successfully gone off and now lead "unenhanced" lives with families however there are also stories of permanently disrupted hpta.
I do not know of anyone who stays on going on pct other than fairly routine AI use and HCG use.

I stay on test all the time, most of the time test and one or two other injectables. I have become a firm believer that every couple of mts running 4-5 of tomox gives me a big boost.

4 or 5 what, days, weeks? i would be very interested. what kind of a boost does it give? Dose?

I'm interested as well LI! I'm definately not having any more kids, hell, if staying on all the time could help me avoid "the snip", that would almost be worth it in itsself! LOL!!!
I seem to be hearing more and more about guys that stay on year round in a smaller dose and then run 12 or so week cycles of higher doses...Very interesting to me.
LiftsIron, what is your protocol with test?
Just be sure when you're on a down period that your test levels aren't supraphysiological. This will give your heart the break it needs. Other than that, as was said, no children.

So, by suprashysiological doses, when I am "off cycle" I would be looking at around 100 mg a week or so as a TRT dose?
Again, not to say that I am definately going in this direction by any means, just interested...

Big increase in libido as well as huge increase in ejaculate volume are the most noticeable.

I really don't have a set protocol and I haven't dropped below 400mgs test/wk in several years now.

I stay on all the time due secondary hypogonadism. Now using 250 mg of test per week.
If you realy think of staying on year round, try to close monitor blood pressure, complete blood work, sexual life and well-being.

I think it's weeks not months. Lifts (Premier Muscle) once told that:
"Regardless bro once in awhile for an experiment run 30 days of nolva. I believe that you will see a boost in several areas."
And "I use 10-20 mgs of nolva, I don't like clomid much especially since I'm always on some test at the very least."
If I'm wrong, please feel free to correct me.

To be sure what's the minimum dose to keep withim normal ranges of total test, you will have to test bro. 100 mg/w keeps me hypogonadal .

Yeah jb it's weeks at normally 10-20mgs nolva ed.
Yes, guijr the trick is to never allow you bp to go out of the normal range, lipids need to kept in normal range and heart, liver and kidney bloodwork are a must. I also get a psa done at least twice per year.

liftsiron,
what kind of psa levels do you normally get if you don't mind me asking?
