I've read as many posts/opinions on this site as i could about using AS before reaching your genetic limitations (which is impossible). Anyways, i understand its important to have a solid foundation before using. but what about if i have a pretty solid base now and am still making pretty good progess naturally? is it bad to start a cycle (would i go into a catabolic state following the cycle)? i kinda wanna see how far i can go naturally, but a great situation luckily dawned upon me in which i'm contemplating using. any suggestions/opinions/advice etc.....

First if your still getting good gains naturally stick with it. Using gear will forever taint your view of good gains if you plan to train natural later. Whatever you gain it wont be good enough compared to when you were on. If your "great situation" is that it's now available to you, there's nothing wrong with gettin it and holding on to it for a while. Leo17

Leo17 thanks leo, thats the answer i was looking for. but i have this urge to try AS, same as everyone else. thats a great point though, how any "natural" gains wont be good enough compared to the "on" gains. how does everyone else deal with this? (or do you guys just plan on doing gear for life or......)

I trained clean form 14-26. Now I plan on being on for the rest of my life (or for many, many years anyway). I still gain good post cycle. Mostly strength gains but some size. usually between cycles I focus on getting my form better and rehabing any nagging injuries I may have gotten. Things of that nature. This time between cycles I foucused on WSB training (which I had never done before) so I focused on getting the finer points on the new form down before adding much weight. Worked great for me.

thanks lil' will, here's my situation. i'm 22 now, and making good progress. I want to do my 1st BB show next summer if i can get big enough. i'm 215lb now and theres still almost 9mo. till the show, so i'm gonna bulk way up (with or without juice). so i figure nows the time if i'm gonna do it. Just so happens that a great situation arose where i met a great guy (doesnt it always start like that), who can "help me out". i also figure that once i start juicing, i have a pretty addictive personality, and with all the good things i've personally learned, seen and heard about it, it won't be my last time.... what you guys think....

It's a hard one to call. The gains you get from the juice will blow your mind. I remember almost being in a constant state of euphoria during my first cycle. It's great when you walk into the weight room and have a PR every day. It's great when your shirts begin to get tight, the veins begin to surface and people are always making the comment of, "what the hell are you on" AHH, I think it's time to start preparing for another cycle. But in all seriousness, just keep pushing yourself until you're not getting the results you want and then begin your chemical enhancement.

It's weird cuz i am slowly putting on more weight, yet getting more ripped as well. guess i'm losing bf and putting on lean muscle. i'm not sure what i'm gonna do, its soooo tempting to "jump right in". thanks for you input guys..... any other suggestions/opinions.....

As long as your still gaining, then you really dont need any gear. I jumped the gun big time as far as starting to juice, and now the thought of training naturaly makes me laugh. Its no way to be.
