What are some thoughts on "touch-up" work-outs? My routine is pretty typical, and one that is executed at a gym. However, I have a mini-gym at home and often on the weekends feel the need to do a little touch-up . . . maybe do arms, shoulders, lunges, abs - whatever. Now, I am working body parts once a week, and hitting them hard - are "touch-up" workouts overdoing it? If I do a touch-up on Saturday, say for back . . . (no soreness), is Monday too early to hit it up again (hard at the gym)? Is there any value to these or are they a waste of time?
Thanks

I think they can be of great benefit. In fact, the best shape I've been in was after I went through several months of very hard training, which started with daily hard cardio and bodyweight exercises. I lifted on a two day split on the weekends, so I ended up exercising every day. I got minimal sleep but my body just rose to the challenge. Of course, the AS helped.
i do this all the time. i like to pick a bodypart and work it at least twice a week but do not do this more than one week ina row for recovery reasons. so, for example, hit back on tuesday7 and hit it again two or three days later or on the weekend, the following week, do triceps in a similar fashion.
