Has anyone ever been beating in arm wrestling by a skinny person? This guy at this local bar was winning money from arm wrestling people in the bar. This guy could not have been but 150 pounds tops. He was arm wrestling some pretty big people and winning. Some of these people I work out with and they are not weak. He arm wrestled me and kicked my ass. My arms are like twice the size of his. I mean where does this power from skinny people come from? I hear different stories about 135 pound people benching like 400 pounds and breaking records that some of the bigger people can't even do. Anyway, that kind of took my manhood away....well besides being hit in the nut the other day if yall read my post.lol
LOL at "the nut shot" I used to be one of those before I started pumping iron. I dont think it was because I was strong, but I had technique. I used to armwrestle all the time, but now I dont really. I think I did it because it gave me an ego boost, only being 160lbs. I did see one guy at a bar once that was about 140lbs. beat a guy that looked about 230 and ripped and it was one of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Makes me wonder what kind of potential some of these little stronger bros have.
Allot of it is mental, you'd be surprised at what someone can do when they put there mind to it.
I gotta hand it to the little wigger.lol He was pretty damn strong. I noticed that at first it was obvious that I had him beat, then all of a sudden he locked my wrist and I could not bring it back around and could do nothing but lose. I'm thinking it's all in the wrists. He must of had much stronger wrists than me because I could not get away from that lock.
AMen. . . a thread i can relate to. The secret is those men are irish. . -=KraKr=-
you have to know how to arm wrestle. you have to pull them towards you and throw your shoulders and lats into it. some try doing it all in the wrist and forearm.
Go for a re-match. First, have a talk with your son (who escaped his grandfathers clutches and hitched a ride to the place). Then listen to your son about "being together is all that really matters". Appraoch the arm-wrestling area and turn your cap backwards. (you know....its uhh...like a switch....like a machine...like this semi-truck over there) Lock up with the guy and let him pull you over only an inch from the surface of the table. Then...in slow motion...raise your fingers one-by-one and turn his wrist. (Lip snarl is imperative). Then...pull him over...over the top. Hug your son and fire up that semi-truck you just won....and drive away into the sunset. FOX
fox, your a friggin trip bro!!! i almost lost it right there.:D
I figured somebody would throw in some "over the top" eventually.lol
if your wrist gets turned your pretty much fucked. Make sure when get your grip your agressive and turn try to bend his wrist back as far as you can.
yeah, its all in the wrists..... turn your wrist towards his nd just put all your weight into it......
I'm strong as fuck but can't arm wrestle for shit. I think genetics plays a role in it.
Dudes..its not the strength...its the technique. Good arm wrestlers know how to use proper torque and focus their entire body into the arm motion. He just has better knowledge in arm wrestling..thats it...no benching 400lbs @ 150lbs Body Weight or anything like that. 007
Technique and leverage, which comes from experience.
