How do you guys get rid of body fat? I know exercise and proper diet are probably the most important part but I have some body fat in my ass and waist I can't get rid of. I train 10-30 hours a week on my bike, race almost every weekend and eat great but this fat does not seem to want to get out. I have been stuck at 10% body fat for over a year. Recently I have added more muscle mass (about 4-5 lbs) and my legs and arms seem lower in body fat but the middle of my body is not getting lower. I think I can shed like 4 lbs of body fat. Any ideas would be great. Thanks again.

Also, I've found that I tend to put on body fat when overtrained. I don't know if that is normal, but it comes off when I'm rested (sounds kinda backwards, but that's how my body work).

This is going to sound tottally over simplified...but...when you are at 10 and having trouble like that you should try to FINISH dinner every day no later than 5:30 6pm. (dinner at 8 is bad) I like to eat most of my calories during the day, and for dinner I'll just have a salad with a piece of chicken or fish...maybe 3/4 of brown rice with that at the most. (unless I'm getting ready for an effort over 3 hours, then I'll load a little more.

Also, sleep allot more. It soundls like you are just a little over stressed and under recovered.

To most the marathon is the ultimate test of human endurance. To us it's just the cool down!

Pain is temporary - Quitting lasts forever

Regardless of how hard you train - The time is going to go by anyway so if you are going to throw a leg over your bike you may aswell bust you ass, make as many watts / do as many intervals as you can.

K Thanks for all the info so far. What do you guys do when your racing/training in the evening? Sometimes I don't finish till 7-8 and have allot of hunger. Most of the week I am training during midday.
