The first week of getting back into working out my muscles the next few days they were really sore but then the second week I don't feel any soreness after I did my workout. When you work out should you always feel a good amount of soreness. do I need to up my intensity?

well, once your muscles are toned up, you do not need DOMS to indicate muscle growth. a better indicator would be increased weights on your exercises. having said that however, personally i like to feel my muscles sore. i try every week to concentrate on one muscle group to the point of soreness than backoff it for a week or two before hitting it that hard again.
