What do you guys think of this exercise.....is it good for peak or just the lower cut towards the forearm...after my arm routine I normally hit the cables to burn out, but do any of you mix it in to your normal routine

You know what, alot of guys slam cable movements for arms...however, cable preacher curls, IMO, are amazing... Unlike with dumbells your arms are under constant tention throughout the movement, where with a db or bb u lose all the tension at the top. I enjoy alot of machines including cable machine that allow me a peak contraction at the top for bi training...this includes the hammer curl, strive curl and basic cable preacher curl machines. U still have to train heavy though.

Yeah.....I do the same thing. Right after my bicep workout I hit the cables for a final pump and stretch.

Yeah thats the one that I do, feels great when your arms are all pumped up.

I like doin' 1-arm preachers from the low pulley on the cable crossover. Just push a preacher bench up to it and bang those peaks. And as Valkyl previously stated, there is constant tension placed on the bicep.
