I have been having some issues with my front delts for the past few weeks which is weird for me, so I have been taking it easy on presses. The good news is the rest has helped my forearm/wrist problems, but has left me a little weak in time off of heavy work. Raw bench- a comfy 525 for a single Shoulder press- a good work set of 455x5 Shrugs- a pathetic 315 for 5 sets of 15 using the cambered bar. My weight is around 286 which puts me in good striking distance for 275's on 12/14. I will be testing shirts on Friday. I'll keep you posted.

Amazing how just a little bit of weight loss can royally fuck your strength. I have been there. I remember that time I dieted down to get super lean...just for shits and giggles. For around 6 weeks my strength was garbage. But then it seemed like overnight and I came back with all this strength at a lower bodyweight. It may sound weird but perhaps going easy for a bit may pay off come meet time. Its amazing how the body can all of a sudden remember a strength level at a moments notice. I am a local boy now just lifting for fun. I must admit I do feel a bit like Kate Moss now that I am under 300lbs. Thanks for the support guys. I really need it for this one. I can tell my body is breaking down a bit. 5 competitions in one year is not a good idea especially when 4 were pretty big venues requiring some travel. I promised myself that I could not even enter a gym until 2004 after my comp.
Great job BFP, its fuckin fun as shit to make a 500+ bench press look easy. I gotta try your technique on OHP it is the obivous way to go for a bigger bench. Good luck in dec im sure you will crush 700@275. Keep taking it slow and steady man, and please eat something already this isnt Iraq where lunch consisits of camel sack soup and actual SANDwiches....
